Only 14.5% of the registered voters in Ellis County cast ballots in the most recent election. Don't allow less than 8% of the voters to determine who represents you. All voters registered prior to May 10, 2023 are eligible to vote in the upcoming runoff. You need not have voted in the May 6th election to be eligible to vote.  

Runoff elections will be held for Cedar Hill Council - Place 6, Grand Prairie Council - Place 7, Midlothian Council - Place 1 and Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees - Place 5. Early Voting will be May 30 - June 3 and June 5-6 with Election Day taking place on June 10.

Congratulations to the winners and compliments to all who stepped up to offer to serve their community. Please encourage your friends, neighbors and fellow Ellis County voters to get informed and get involved. The unofficial results indicate that less than 19,000 voters determine policies and leaders for nearly 129,000 registered voters.  Runoff elections will be held on June 10th.
